This is touched on in the last paragraph about OEM parts, but after-market car parts are usually 50% or even more less than the original manufacturer's car parts.
With that said, it is very up to the person and the situation when the car is being mended. Many people choose OEM vehicle parts just because they are the safest type of parts to go with, but arguments for third-party automobile parts are because they're much cheaper will be more accessible.
